At Faquin Fitness, our mission is to provide full body strength and functional fitness training in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment for all fitness levels. Our trainers are highly experienced and passionate about helping our clients achieve their fitness goals.

CORRI FAQUIN

I LOVE fitness!  However, my fitness path hasn’t always been a linear one.  My first love was swimming and I swam competitively until my senior year in high school.  In my early twenties, I began swimming again, which led to a 5k that I walked/ran and masters swimming.   My goal was to run an entire 5k, I did that.  But I didn’t stop there, this experience snowballed into a sprint triathlon, a half marathon, numerous distance triathlons, a marathon, and even an Ironman in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  I learned so much in the process about training, nutrition, and planning.

 

I had never felt as in shape as I did after completing the Ironman, I felt invincible.  However, a roller-skating accident left me with a bulging disc and a lot of soft tissue damage.  I couldn’t tie my own shoes or drive a car for a while.  I slowly recovered, but I was mentally defeated and felt as if I’d lost a part of who I was.  Over the next decade, I had kids and focused my time on family and work.   I’d occasionally run and workout but couldn’t seem to get my fitness groove back and didn’t make my own health a priority.  Then a light bulb went off in my head, how can I truly be the best mother, wife, daughter, business partner, etc. if I wasn’t taking care of myself!   I completed an 8-week program designed to get back into good habits with fitness and nutrition.  Why hadn’t I done this sooner!  I then started working out outdoors and immediately loved the workouts!  I became a Certified Personal Trainer shortly after, and have been leading outdoor and live online workouts since.    As a trainer, my goal is to provide a friendly, fun, and supportive environment; and providing workouts that challenge everyone from beginner to elite athlete.  I’m forever a student, constantly learning to up my game and bring you the best workouts possible!  Let’s get moving together!
